Vineet Tripathi: Team Foundation Server Installation

In my installation I have used database server on different server .

Software Requirement: - I have used below software for installing team foundation server on test server:-

Installation of team Foundation Server:-

· Install .net framework 3.0 on windows 2008 std 32 bit edition.

Install .net framework 3.0 on windows 2008 std 32 bit edition.
Double Click on SharePoint Services 3.0 setup
Accept the terms and agreement and then click on continue
Choose the installation you want --> Advanced
Select server type --> Web front end
Check SharePoint data location --> Install now -->Close
Now SharePoint configuration wizard will open
Click on next --> yes
Connect to the server form--> Click on yes, I want to connect to an existing server farm--> next
Enter database server details
After completion of database server details-->Next
After completion of SharePoint Product and Technologies Configuration Wizard-->Next
Finish configuration wizard
After successful initial setup on server we are ready for installing team foundation server. Now double Click on team foundation server setup--> Install--> Next
I have read and accept the license-->Next
Enter database server details--> Next
System health check-->Next (Note:- System health check should be completed successfully before going to next step)
For team foundation server service account use system account--> Next
Provide account details for reporting services-->Next
Provide windows SharePoint services details--> Next
Now Team Foundation server is ready to install. Click on install
Now setup is completed successfully. Click on finish
Again double click on team foundation server setup and then select team explorer-->Install
Accept the license terms-->Next
Install-->Now installation will start
Setup Completed successfully--> Finish
